All workplaces have a duty to comply with the legal requirements which fall under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and its associated regulations. It is essential that all employees have an awareness of health and safety law in order to ensure that they are able to recognise, follow and implement the correct health and safety procedures.

Module 6: Fire prevention and control

Module 8: Safety signs and signals

In module 8 you will be provided with an overview of the most common health and safety signs and signals. You will understand the difference between those that are mandatory, those that depict a warning and those which symbolise prohibition.
