CPD Certified

Whilst all children in England are required to be taught about the Holocaust as part of the Key Stage 3 History curriculum, it’s important that all teaching staff across all phases have an awareness of and confidence in their own ability to be able to discuss events associated with the Holocaust.

Developed by Louise Stafford, the Director of Learning at the National Holocaust Centre and Museum, this Essential CPD course provides you with the knowledge and skills of the key events that took place during the Holocaust, as well as the importance of educating future generations to help remember past experiences.

Please note: The course consists of learning through video, task completion and further reading/research. Please consider this when planning and allocating your time. To successfully understand and achieve the objectives from the course, learners are expected to engage in all aspects of the learning process and complete all relevant activities to ensure they can successfully apply the knowledge and skills they have gained in their own setting.
