Course Duration: 1 hour (approx) online training + self-directed learning and activities + final assessment.
Whilst all children in England are required to be taught about the Holocaust as part of the Key Stage 3 History curriculum, it’s important that all teaching staff across all phases have an awareness of and confidence in their own ability to be able to discuss events associated with the Holocaust.
This Essential CPD course provides you with the knowledge and understanding of the key events that took place during the Holocaust, as well as the importance of educating future generations to help remember past experiences.
Delivered by the National Holocaust Centre and Museum, the course has been split into six bite-sized modules and has been designed to provide maximum learning potential in the leanest, most cost-effective and most time-efficient manner. It has been produced in high-quality remote video CPD format which is accessible on any device, any time, anywhere.
The course consists of learning through video, task completion and further reading/research. Please consider this when planning and allocating your time. To successfully understand and achieve the objectives from the course, learners are expected to engage in all aspects of the learning process and complete all relevant activities to ensure they can successfully apply the knowledge and skills they have gained in their own setting.
