Adrienne Katz

Adrienne Katz is an award-winning cyberbullying expert with extensive experience of working with schools and education providers to deliver training in online safety. She is a CPD accredited trainer and is the founder and leader of the annual national Cybersurvey, providing one of the richest databases of young people’s views on digital life in the UK.

Adrienne has worked with local authorities, agencies, schools and care settings to deliver training and education around online safety. She has previously worked for the Anti-Bullying Alliance and led on developing a new statutory suite of Anti-Bullying guidance for the Government of Wales. She has also led projects funded by Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF), the Home Office and The Princess Diana Memorial Fund.

She has written three books on online safety for educators and undertaken commissioned reports and evaluations. The Cybersurvey research partnership identified the online experiences of vulnerable children, the focus of our work since 2017. This informs the UKCIS Working Group on Vulnerable Children.

Adrienne was awarded 'Inspirational Individual of the Year 2018' by the Ben Cohen Stand Up Foundation and she is a member of AACOSS, the Association of Adult and Child Online Safety Specialists.
