Caroline Holder

Caroline Holder is a qualified PE consultant with in-depth experience in multiple roles over the last 10 years in improving schools’ physical activity lessons. She specialises in producing and implementing PE programmes in primary and secondary schools that enhance teachers’ own CPD and improve physical activity for school children.

Caroline has previously worked as PE advisor for Staffordshire County Council, which involved designing and leading numerous PE-based activities. From 2011 to 2014, she was the lead trainer for the national PE CPD programme. During this time in 2013, she also worked as a School Self-Evaluation Partner, supporting headteachers to prepare for Ofsted inspections.

Caroline is now the owner and lead PE consultant of Accelerate Learning Services, which offers innovative, bespoke in-school training for PE courses. In this role, Caroline works closely with such national PE organisations as the Youth Sport Trust and the Association for Physical Education. She has also been contracted locally to oversee and support how schools spend their primary PE and sports funding.
