Chris McShane is an education expert with over 30 years experiences of working in schools, including 13 years as a Headteacher working across both state and independent schools. Chris is passionate about learning and modernising approaches to it. He has worked at local, regional, national and international level in the design of curriculum models, technology for learning, Initial Teacher Training and System Leadership.

He is currently working with an International Education Fund to support Leadership and Professional Development in hard to reach places. In 2012 he co-founded the Headteachers Roundtable, a Headteacher Thinktank and Pressure Group, and in the last fours years of his headship, he led a school through significant cultural change towards a self-directed learning philosophy.

Through his own company, Learning 3D, Chris supports change management in schools. He aims to have a positive impact on teaching, how students learn and creating a better work life balance for teachers and students. He focuses on making changes through emotional intelligent approaches, such as a personalisation of learning through a blended learning model and the introduction of coaching and mentoring, to help teachers and students to be the best versions of themselves.
