Christina Astin

Christina Astin has over 25 years’ experience in secondary schools as an outstanding physics teacher and leader during which time she co-founded Young Scientists Journal. In her role as head of partnerships she established three successful multi-school partnerships and was Founder-Chair of the UK-wide Schools Together Group.

She now offers advice and training to schools in the UK and beyond in science, leadership and partnerships, including as Science Adviser for Kent. Christina also works with corporate clients and charitable organisations as a STEM consultant and is in demand as a writer, speaker and presenter. She is a graduate of Cambridge University and a Fellow of both the Institute of Physics and the Chartered College of Teaching.
