This month’s programme includes webinars providing expert guidance on updates to the Ofsted Education Inspection Framework (EIF) and School Inspection Handbooks, reflecting the challenges posed by COVID-19. We continue our programme of webinars on the Early Career Framework Reforms in September 2021 with an insight into instructional coaching, an evidence-based approach which can help schools fulfil their statutory induction duties.
There is a transitional theme, with webinars to help schools bridge the gap from Reception to Year 1, and also to enhance reading comprehension and support pupils’ emotional wellbeing as pupils progress from primary to secondary school. We also offer two webinars with a focus on provision for disadvantaged pupils: expert guidance on delivering a child-centred approach to exclusion for pupils with SEND, and on addressing the needs of EAL pupils with SEND.
Our subject-specific CPD this month also includes practical guidance on developing problem-solving skills in mathematics, delivering the multiplication tables check, and on developing a rewarding drama curriculum.
Our Early Years Foundation Stage series continues in June with expert guidance on preparing for the Reception Baseline Assessment, understanding and implementing the characteristics of effective teaching and learning, and ensuring fidelity to a systematic synthetic phonics (SSP) programme.
The latest in our Early Career Framework series is a webinar offering insight into ECF content which sets out the evidence-based knowledge and skills Early Career Teachers need for future success.
We’re excited to publish our June webinar programme, developed in timely response to a range of government initiatives. We offer insight into the Staff Wellbeing Charter, analysis of the Wood Report on new multi-agency safeguarding arrangements, and provide guidance on behaviour excellence as a means of whole-school improvement. The latest in our Early Career Framework series is a webinar offering practical support in implementing ECF content in accordance with Teachers’ Standards.
