Description

With changes to the OFSTED inspection framework due in September 2019 and statutory Health, Relationship and Sex Education due the following year, it’s important schools prepare and start to respond now. The role of mental health has become a key aspect of overall school attainment and focusing on well-being should now be considered in a more holistic way. This webinar is aimed at school and curriculum leaders, including governors, in both primary and secondary schools. It is also relevant to MH leads and those responsible for teaching RSHE.

Content

  • Clarification on the forthcoming changes
  • The shared responsibilities between the designated MH lead and PSHE/RSHE lead
  • Ways to promote mental health, both strategically and operationally
  • A number of (free) resources, training and support
  • Why simply being compliant may not enable staff and pupils to flourish
