Lindley Junior School have been able to roll-out a wealth of video CPD to the whole school workforce, thanks to a School Membership with The National College.

Headteacher Catherine Jubbs highlighted the accessibility of the platform throughout the pandemic, and how it has enabled school staff to explore our award-winning library of CPD whilst working remotely.

Ease of access

When the Covid-19 pandemic hit, Lindley Junior School knew that they needed a platform where staff could access high-quality CPD without disruption.

Catherine explained: “The lockdown was a trigger for us to become members of The National College as it enabled staff to access CPD whilst working from home.

“Throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, the platform was very crucial and allowed us to complete training remotely.”

Updates on the latest education policy and guidance

Our programme of webinars and courses is regularly updated in line with the latest policy, practice and research and is delivered in collaboration with education experts.

This has proven invaluable for Lindley Junior School: “Policy and guidance updates have been very useful, there’s not always the time to access as many as we would like – Early Career Teaching has been useful for keeping up to date.

“Moving forward, we will be looking to keep up to date with changes, safeguarding and Ofsted information.”

Flexibility in CPD training
