National Education Group: EducationInvestor Awards 2021 Finalists

Great news: we’ve been shortlisted in all four categories we entered for the EducationInvestor awards 2021!  These include: Ed Tech Provider of the Year, Education Software Provider, School Management Information Systems (MIS) Provider, and Grand Prix Education Provider for the standout provider across all sub-sectors.

The National College, which operates under the National Education Group, has been recognised for its high-quality, remote video CPD, which is designed and delivered in collaboration with education experts, and which is continuing to empower schools to overcome the emotional and practical challenges posed by the pandemic, including illness and bereavement, infection control, remote and blended education, transition back to the classroom, end-of-year assessments, together with a stream of new government initiatives.

Our Chief Executive Officer, Neil Gamewell, said:

We’ve worked harder than ever to improve what we do, delivering a faster, smarter service, and working alongside some of the most trusted voices in education, with the ultimate aim of supporting the whole school workforce during unprecedented times.

In the reporting period, our user base grew by over 300%. This, together with some superlative customer feedback, indicates that the quality and flexibility of our CPD, our responsiveness to changes in policy, our investment in R&D and the value for money we offer schools are all key factors in a successful CPD formula.

It’s an exciting time for the National Education Group: we have a dedicated team who are constantly looking at ways to build on our achievements and better serve our schools, and we’re formulating ambitious plans for the future.”

The EducationInvestor Awards celebrate excellence and innovation in the business of education in the UK, as well as those who have showed great agility and resilience in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Winners will be announced on 30 November 2021 at the EducationInvestor Awards ceremony that will take place at The Royal Lancaster, London.
