The National College App Wins Teach Secondary Award

In exciting news, we are proud to announce that The National College App won the 4* star award at the Teach Secondary Awards 2021.

The award recognises the breadth of resources available via the app, its ease of use and how it provides a convenient and flexible way for schools to support their staff in providing high-quality remote CPD.

Adrian Briggs, who is a curriculum leader of computer science and lead teacher of virtual digital technology at Middleton Technology School, and who judged this category, stated:

"A smart resource that gives staff ownership of their own CPD. As an app, it adopts a 'no nonsense' approach, taking you straight in and showing you what's on offer straight away. It's clear, concise and easy to navigate."

Neil Gamewell, CEO for the National Education Group, under which The National College sits, said:

"Winning this award is a fantastic achievement for The National College. We knew that adapting our award-winning platform into a mobile native app was a natural step to take. We put the user at the heart of everything we did and the end result is something we're really proud of - the app has been a resounding success and we constantly receive feedback telling us how it's making learning on-the-go so much easier for staff. This is a really proud moment for the team and it's amazing to be recognised."
