The National College win the Teach Secondary Award 2019 for School CPD

Our win at the Teach Secondary Awards coincides with the launch of our brand new, state-of-the-art website.

The National College have picked up the 5-star award for CPD at the Teach Secondary Awards 2019, recognising our outstanding contribution towards professional development in the education sector.

Our success comes hot on the heels of our recent website launch, with a fully integrated and bespoke learning platform for our customers, making it even easier for you to access the latest, high quality CPD. It also follows our recent accreditation as a CPD certified provider.

Changing training methods

The National College have quickly established themselves in the education sector. We are leading the way in delivering the highest quality CPD to schools and removing any need for schools to engage in traditional training methods i.e. conferences, events or in-person.

Winning a Teach Award places us in fantastic company alongside some of the biggest names in education, with former recipients including BBC Learning, Collins and Oxford University Press. It marks a truly remarkable 12 months for the company as we continue to experience exponential growth and establish ourselves as one of the foremost innovators in providing video CPD to school leaders.

Sarah Harrison, who is the teacher development programmes manager at the Chartered College of Teaching and on the judging panel at the Teach Secondary Awards, said, “The range of webinars, topics and expert speakers on offer is impressive, often accompanied by a range of downloadable resources. Webinars can be accessed live and again afterwards – ensuring that the CPD is accessible anytime and anywhere. The production quality goes above and beyond what you might expect from a webinar, making for enjoyable viewing.”

Customer centric website

In addition, the launch of our new website reflects our commitment to delivering a 100% customer centric learning experience. Largely based on feedback received from existing customers, our new site is beautifully clean and has an easy to use interface, giving users complete control of their professional development and allowing school leaders to manage their whole school CPD in one central place.

After experiencing the new platform, Kathy Thompson, Headteacher at West Road Primary Academy in Moorends, said, "The National College webinar training resources provide a wealth of materials to enhance CPD for school leaders and other educational professionals. It is like a 'Netflix' equivalent for school leaders - providing a clear, comprehensive suite of highly relevant resources, covering a wide range of subject matter."
