The draft guidance for KCSiE 2020 was published on 25th February 2020 by the DfE, with the consultation process now commenced for the prospective alterations which are scheduled to come into effect from September 2020.

KCSiE outlines the statutory requirements for all schools and colleges in relation to their safeguarding duties and promoting the welfare of children. With this in mind, it’s crucial for governors, school leaders, headteachers, Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSLs), school staff and teachers have an extensive comprehension of the proposed revisions and coherence on the main updates to safeguarding policy.
