Webinar Duration: 91 minutes (approx.)

This webinar will provide headteachers, principals, governors, councillors, teachers and senior leaders for wellbeing and pastoral support with practical advice on developing and implementing strategies to support the mental health and wellbeing of students, and staff, as they return to school after lockdown.

All schools across Australia are expected to return to face to face education once 70% of eligible Australians are vaccinated in line with the National Plan to transition Australia’s National COVID-19 Response. It’s important that senior leaders start thinking about their plans for welcoming staff and students back now and develop an action plan to support wellbeing, rebuild emotional resilience and establish a positive learning environment.

In this webinar, mental health and wellbeing experts, Dr Lyn O'Grady and Anna Bateman will discuss how schools can develop an effective strategy for wellbeing following lockdown and reflect on international experience of delivering a successful approach to welcoming students back, using the UK as a case study, as other countries have followed their own ‘roadmap to freedom’
