Best Evidence in Brief August 2019

Useful summary of research papers. Evidence of the reduction of class size to benefit word reading and spelling especially interesting in the current conditions. Reducing class size and using a reading intervention has a significant effect in improving literacy skills for at risk students. Which school students attend only has a 10% variance on achievement. Expressive writing does reduce students’ exam anxiety.
