Aim: This webinar will provide you with practical guidance and support on keeping pupils motivated and implementing a culture of learning during remote education, both when schools are required to close and when pupils are required to self-isolate, so that all, including the most vulnerable, are motivated to succeed.

Rationale: In the traditional classroom, a number of factors contribute to pupil motivation, including association and competition with peers, positive reinforcement by teachers, and an end goal of achieving exam success. The transition to remote education and cancellation of exams have weakened or removed these external stimuli. At the same time, schools are faced with the challenge of delivering an engaging remote education curriculum to all pupils, aligned with in-school provision.
