This webinar will provide headteachers, senior leaders, designated safeguarding leads, teachers and teaching assistants with advice and practical guidance on developing an evidence-based strategies to supporting children with hidden SEND, creating positive school experiences and enhancing behaviour and attainment.

Some disabilities are not instantly visible, they may not meet the threshold for clinical diagnosis, or pupils may learn to mask them – a common coping mechanism for girls with autism. By putting in place effective support, schools can prevent escalation of need and improve outcomes for pupils, also benefitting the wider school community.

In this webinar, nasen, the leading charitable membership organisation which supports those working with children with SEND, explains behaviours which can point to hidden SEND and explores a range of evidence-based practices which schools can incorporate to support pupils who are currently struggling.
