On the 28th August, the DfE released their guidance for schools, colleges and early years providers on how to ensure they are ready if tier 2 local interventions are put in place.
The guidance provides detailed information on what schools should expect if their local area moves to a tier 2 intervention. It covers how schools should look to employ a rota system on-site and provides guidance on control measures, attendance expectations, remote education and workforce planning.
In this video update John Rees, an experienced teacher, trainer and consultant with more than 25 years educational leadership experience, will discuss what the guidance document means for schools and colleges and how they will be expected to adapt to changes in the tier system.
