About the Webinar

Curriculum intent forms part of the ‘quality of education’ judgement in the new Ofsted Education Inspection Framework (EIF) 2019. In simple terms, it a school’s educational intent and will be evaluated through what curriculum leadership has been provided by senior, subject and curriculum leaders.

This webinar is aimed at senior and middle leadership to help them design and develop their whole school curriculum intent. Based on recent school inspection feedback delivered in line with the new Ofsted criteria, this webinar will provide practical advice and guidance on what Ofsted will be looking for, what they expect from a broad and balanced curriculum and how to develop outstanding classroom practice.

Learning Outcomes

  • What are the new curriculum changes under the new Ofsted EIF? A brief introduction.

  • What advice was provided from a recent Ofsted inspection in line with the new framework.

  • How to write and create your curriculum intent.

  • How to conduct a curriculum review to develop a curriculum implementation plan.

  • Practical advice and steps towards taking the next steps.
