Webinar Duration: 55 minutes (approx.)
This webinar will provide governors, headteachers, senior leaders and designated mental health leads with practical guidance on developing staff mental health/wellbeing policy which align with DfE’s education staff wellbeing charter and related government policy.
In May 2021, the DfE published its Education staff wellbeing charter, providing ‘a declaration of support for, and set of commitments to, the wellbeing and mental health of everyone working in education’. It is intended that schools and colleges can use the charter in the creation of their own wellbeing strategies.
In this webinar Anna Bateman, subject matter expert on mental health and wellbeing, who works in an advisory role for the DfE, identifies key components of staff mental health/wellbeing policy which schools can use to embed a wellbeing-focused culture and evidence compliance with statutory duties.
