This webinar will provide school leaders, teachers and practitioners with practical guidance on designing an effective curriculum for children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), including short-term planning to progress learning.

Effective from September 2021, the statutory EYFS framework outlines seven areas of learning and development – all of which are equally important and interconnected - which must shape educational programmes in early years settings.

In this webinar, Debi Keyte-Hartland, early years expert and TEDx speaker with over 25 years’ experience in the UK and international education sector, will explain the principles of broad and balanced curriculum design for the EYFS which takes account of DfE guidance. It includes both the intent of overarching curriculum design and also the accommodation of day-to-day planning to support children’s progression of learning across the EYFS.
