About the Webinar

This webinar will provide headteachers, senior leaders, HR managers and governors with an insight into the challenges and opportunities of flexible working and how a whole-school approach can enhance staff recruitment and retention, and positively impact teaching and learning.

The benefits of flexible working in schools, and in particular with regard to staff recruitment and retention, are backed by research, for example in the DfE’s findings from a four-stage research project, Exploring Flexible Working Practice in Schools, updated November 2020.

In this webinar, Lindsay Patience, co-founder of Flexible Teacher Talent, teacher and SLT member, explains how schools can overcome the challenges posed by flexible working and explores its many benefits via evidence-based resources and case studies.
