This webinar will provide headteachers, senior leaders and teachers with an insight into the content of the reformed Early Career Framework (ECF) which builds on Initial Teacher Training to equip Early Career Teachers (ECTs) with evidence-based knowledge and skills, helping to provide a secure foundation for future success.

From September 2021, the ECF Reforms will be rolled out nationally, introducing new statutory arrangements for the induction of ECTs, including an entitlement to two-years of high-quality professional development, underpinned by the ECF which itself is congruent with Teachers’ Standards.

In this webinar, Jayne Robinson, school leader and SCITT tutor whose 25 years’ experience includes roles as NQT mentor and EYFS lead, explains how the ECF supports ECTs in five core areas: behaviour management, pedagogy, curriculum, assessment and professional behaviours and how it can be used to help demonstrate compliance with Teachers’ Standards.
