This webinar will provide headteachers and leaders with an understanding of the ITT Market Review Report which has been commissioned by the DfE, clarifying the recommendations made in the report to facilitate the provision of consistently high-quality, evidence-based training, which are the subject of consultation with schools and colleges.

Published in July 2021, the ITT Market Review Report identifies the need to improve the content and quality of training across providers, align ITT provision with the Early Career Framework (ECF) and the new National Professional Qualifications (NPQs), and proposes recommendations to achieve this. A consultation process is open until 22 August 2021, giving schools the opportunity to feed back their views on proposals.

In this webinar, Stephen Burnage, expert practitioner, consultant and trainer with over 25 years' experience in teaching and leading schools, explains the background to the ITT Market Review Report, the proposed quality requirements and the implications for schools and colleges, and highlights the importance of participating in the consultation process.
