Maths anxiety is a very real condition. A study by the University of Cambridge in 2019 reported that children as young as 6 are suffering a range of negative responses to the subject – from fear to despair and rage - which can severely impact their ability to succeed as they progress to secondary school and beyond.

In this webinar, Marie Thompson, qualified maths teacher and psychology expert with 16+ years’ experience of outstanding practice in schools, explains the causes and traits of maths anxiety, its impact on performance at school, and how to address the issue in order to achieve better pupil outcomes.
