With over twenty-five years of progressive experience within Education and the private sector and one of only a handful of non-teaching staff to be awarded the National Professional Qualification for Headship, Michelle has experience of primary, secondary, further and higher education. She is an accomplished specialist in leadership and management, marketing and business development.

Having worked at senior leader level, with multiple schools under her remit, she has built up a great level of expertise implementing change initiatives and developing new practices and procedures in light of national best practice and government guidelines. She has developed initiatives which have established support teams to be at the core of an organisations growth and has promoted the role that support teams play as professionals. She understands the mechanisms that work within a school to support development.

Michelle has an award-winning record of building long-term relationships and has gained substantial funding to improve educational outcomes. She has led and contributed to substantial partnerships including a partnership between education, health, local government, and third sector organisations to deliver an educational project that won a Guardian Newspaper Innovation in Partnership Healthcare Award. Judges praised it for its innovation and contribution to the future of both education and healthcare.
