This webinar will provide headteachers, governors, senior leaders and teachers with an exploration of issues surrounding the menopause, including a discussion of symptoms, stereotypes and stigmas, and offers practical advice on developing a diversity & inclusion approach which supports the whole school community.

The recent launch of the government’s ‘UK Menopause Taskforce’ highlights the need to raise understanding and encourage open conversations about the menopause, to improve care and support for women undergoing this significant and often challenging life change. To be truly effective, a menopause education programme should be representative of the diverse and multicultural society it serves.

In this webinar, Nic Ponsford, co-founder of the Global Equality Collective, a global community of diversity, equality and inclusion (DEI) change makers, together with colleagues Madhu Kapoor and Elizabeth Carr-Ellis, extend an invitation to hear personal perspectives on the menopause, and discuss ways in which schools and colleges can develop education programmes which support diversity and inclusion.
