This webinar will provide headteachers, senior leaders and governors with an understanding of DfE’s proposals for reforming further education funding and accountability to help inform post-16 providers’ response to government consultation.

The DfE has announced an open consultation on proposals to simplify funding allocation, and to introduce an accountability agreement which gives providers the freedom to determine how best to support local and national skills needs. The consultation, which closes on 6 October 2021, provides an opportunity to contribute to the design of a better system for decades to come.

In this webinar, Stefan Fusenich, teacher, educator and DfE subject learning coach with extensive management and teaching experience, explains the content of the DfE’s consultation document and discusses how proposals might impact the delivery of further education in the future to inform providers’ response as part of the consultation process.
