Webinar Duration: 67 minutes (approx.)
This webinar will provide governors, headteachers, senior leaders and designated safeguarding leads with an expert insight into what Ofsted inspectors will consider when inspecting safeguarding across early years settings, schools and further education and skills providers, including the evidence they will look for and the key judgements they will make.
On 24 August 2021 the Ofsted ‘Inspecting safeguarding in early years, education and skills’ guidance was updated to reflect Ofsted’s review of sexual abuse in schools and colleges and Keeping children safe in education 2021. The guidance outlines the expectations on providers to make sure they have effective procedures for keeping children, learners and vulnerable adults safe from abuse, neglect and exploitation.
This webinar will provide an expert overview of the updated guidance with a focus on understanding inspectors’ responsibilities, what the signs of successful safeguarding arrangements are and the evidence Ofsted will look for during inspections.
