About the Webinar

On 16th January 2019, Ofsted published the Education Inspection Framework (EIF) 2019 for consultation. The EIF sets out how Ofsted inspects schools, early years settings and further education and skills providers, to take effect from September 2019.

Maggie Parker, a former headteacher and now chair of a Multi-Academy Trust will provide an expert review of the EIF. Maggie will also be joined by a practising headteacher who will give their first response to the EIF in a question and answer discussion with Maggie.

Learning Outcomes

  • An executive summary of the New Education Inspection Framework (EIF) 2019

  • An overview of the key changes in comparison to the previous inspection framework

  • A detailed review and interpretation of the inspection criteria

  • Practical approaches for Senior Leaders to discuss the New EIF with staff, including model INSET days

  • A question and answer interview between a practising inspector and headteacher

  • An opportunity to submit questions prior to the webinar
