About the Webinar

Webinar Duration: 53 minutes (approx.)

This webinar will provide headteachers, curriculum leaders, subject leaders and teachers and practitioners with an insight into strategies, best practices and resources to support confident and consistent teaching of computing across all lessons and for all pupils, aligned with Ofsted expectations.

High-quality computing provision depends on the employment of practices and resources coherently by all teaching staff, constantly refined to meet learning needs, including those of the most vulnerable pupils. Embedding good practice also helps schools prepare for the possibility of an Ofsted ‘deep dive’.

n this webinar Jamie Edmondson, DfE funded NCCE subject matter expert, senior leader and experienced teacher and computing lead, will discuss strategies and best practice to enhance effective curriculum delivery of computing, and signpost subject leaders and teachers to the best subject-specific resources.

  • Understanding how to create a learning environment which reflects the school’s ambitious intentions for all pupils, including the most disadvantaged and those with SEND.
