About the Webinar

This webinar will provide headteachers, senior leaders, governors, teachers and all staff with practical strategies around and guidance on how to maximise their holidays and free time in order to focus on their own self-care and enhance their mental wellbeing.

Burnout in schools can be a common problem. The 2021 Teacher Wellbeing Index found that 77% of staff experienced symptoms of poor mental health due to their work and 72% felt stressed. The DfE’s education staff wellbeing charter is a great way to promote support however maximising self-care during periods of free time can significantly improve staff wellness.

In this webinar, Anna Bateman, subject matter expert on mental health & wellbeing, who has worked in an advisory role for the DfE, offers practical guidance on how staff can recharge during periods of free time, overcome holiday fatigue and boost their mental health.
