About the Webinar

This webinar will provide headteachers, senior leaders and subject leads with practical guidance and advice on how to build and strengthen a whole-school ethos towards teaching Arabic which supports inspection goals and enhances pupil outcomes.

Arabic is one of the most widely spoken languages in the world and yet there is often a perception that it can be difficult to teach or it may be too demanding for pupils to learn to a sufficiently high standard. This can invariably pose challenges for schools who must teach Arabic as part of their curriculum and who struggle to get the buy-in from stakeholders in order to appreciate the value that learning Arabic can bring.

This webinar will explore how schools can develop a strategic outlook focused on enhancing the profile of Arabic, using practical examples to help create a positive culture and vision which engages the whole-school community and overcomes common barriers.
