Webinar Duration: 1 hour 8 minutes (approx.)
This webinar will provide governors, headteachers, senior leaders and designated safeguarding leads with an expert analysis of the key updates to the new DfE guidance on Sexual violence and sexual harassment between children in schools and colleges, due to come into effect on 1 September 2021.
On 6 July 2021, the DfE published their 'Sexual violence and sexual harassment between children in schools and colleges' guidance for the 2021/22 academic year. The advice updates the previous document first published in 2017 and sets out what sexual violence and sexual harassment is, how to minimise the risk of it occurring and what to do when it does occur or is alleged to have occurred.
In this webinar Robin Watts, international safeguarding expert and education consultant who has worked with thousands of schools worldwide, will provide an in-depth review of the new guidance to help staff understand the core changes in relation to sexual violence and sexual harassment, what they mean for your school and how you can best prepare for the new academic year.
