About the Webinar

Webinar Duration: 22 minutes (approx.)

This webinar will provide governors, school leaders and teachers with an overview of the latest guidance on delivering high-quality remote education in cases where it is not possible or contrary to government guidance for some or all pupils to attend face-to-face education.

The temporary provisions in the Coronavirus Act 2020 expired on 24 March 2022. As a result the Remote Education (England) Temporary Continuity (No.2) direction no longer has effect. Nonetheless, all schools should continue to provide remote education when it is not possible for some or all of their pupils to attend in person.

This webinar will explore the latest guidance and best practice on delivering remote education including scenarios when it may be necessary, what should be provided, provision for pupils with SEND and how to deliver remote education safely.
