This webinar will provide early years managers, leaders, teachers and practitioners with practical guidance and advice on how to create and implement a user-friendly safeguarding policy in line with statutory guidance and best practice.

The EYFS statutory framework states that all early years settings must have and implement a policy, and procedures, to safeguard children. These must be understood by all staff and must include an explanation of the action to be taken when there are safeguarding concerns about a child and in the event of an allegation being made against a member of staff.

In this webinar, Rachael Bishop, safeguarding consultant with over 18 years’ experience managing safeguarding arrangements for public and private organisations, explores how settings can draft an accessible policy which is easy to understand, involves all stakeholders and helps embed a whole-setting approach to keeping children safe from harm.
