About the Webinar

This webinar will help to support governors, school leaders, head teachers, business managers and subject leads in efficiently planning and maximising their curriculum budgets.

The DfE ICFP guidance should be used to help schools deliver the best possible curriculum they can that meets the needs of pupils. Schools should use ICFP to devise a curriculum that is cost-effective, affordable and gets the most out of their available resources.

In this webinar, qualified inspector Stefan Fusenich, critically analyses the ICFP and discusses how schools can use the guidance to ensure efficient and effective curriculum-led financial planning.

Learning Outcomes

  • Recognising the benefits of ICFP and how it can bring education success and financial sustainability

  • Understanding the basic principles of ICFP and how schools need to consider both their curriculum and financial dimensions

  • How ICFP can contribute towards achieving a broad and balanced curriculum and help to reduce uncertainty within the context of available resources

  • Understand how to effectively use ICFP including steps on preparation, analysis and reconciliation

  • How to develop a data-informed and curriculum-led approach to staff resourcing and devising a long-term strategic plan
