This webinar will provide headteachers, senior leaders, teachers and practitioners with the knowledge and skills to develop an effective approach to supporting and sustaining outstanding behaviour in schools based on the EEF’s guidance report 'Improving social and emotional learning in primary schools'.

Social and emotional learning is a means by which children can learn to regulate their emotions, and brings a range of benefits, helping them to focus on tasks, show empathy, interact positively with others, make responsible decisions, and can have a positive impact on academic outcomes.

In this webinar, Megan Dixon, specialist literacy teacher and senior leader who has worked closely with the EEF, DfE and Ofsted, takes schools step by step through EEF’s evidence-based guidance so that they can embed an effective approach to social and emotional learning which benefits both individual pupils and the whole school.
